I am beyond dance; I am a lifestyle, solea in solitude as my Gitano forebears may say. My roots are grounded in ancient Andalusian culture. I am the outcry of the Gypsy. Faced with the hardship of marginalization from society, music and movement are my refuge storybook. Here I safely express the agonizing beauty that lives within me. Born of pain, each work is like a teardrop with a precise blueprint of every encounter I have ever known.

Although I didn’t hit the stage until the late 1800’s, my popularity quickly spread and today my influences can be felt in many brands of fusion. My rhythms and foot work increase in tempo at times, but I will always maintain the essence of my Flamenco Puro style, nurtured in my heritage. I will forever hold the secrets of my intrinsic Gypsy nature. Expanding and contracting with the changing time, I parallel life in its joy, tragedy and new found hope.
